وَ اِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ  اِذَا دَعَانِ  ۙ فَلۡیَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡا لِیۡ وَ لۡیُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِیۡ  لَعَلَّہُمۡ  یَرۡشُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۶ دعا اور اللہ مجیب الدعوات ایک اعرابی نے پوچھا تھا کہ یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ! کیا ہمارا رب قریب ہے؟ اگر قریب ہو تو ہم اس سے سرگوشیاں کرلیں یا دور ہے؟ اگر دور ہو تو ہم اونچی اونچی آوازوں سے اسے پکاریں ، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم خاموش رہے اس پر یہ آیت اتری ( ابن ابی حاتم ) ایک اور روایت میں ہے کہ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم کے اس سوال پر کہ ہمارا رب کہاں ہے؟ یہ آیت اتری ( ابن جریر ) حضرت عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آیت ( رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُوْنِيْٓ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ) 40 ۔ غافر:60 ) نازل ہوئی یعنی مجھے پکارو میں تمہاری دعائیں قبول کرتا رہوں گا تو لوگوں نے پوچھا کہ دعا کس وقت کرنی چاہئے؟ اس پر یہ آیت اتری ( ابن جریج ) حضرت ابو موسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کا بیان ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک غزوہ میں تھے ہر بلندی پر چڑھتے وقت اور ہر وادی میں اترتے و...
